4/28 Washington DC/Maryland

Bermuda Triangles are on tour up and down the east coast with their new LP... get that shit, great live band, funky & frightening I keep saying. We're playing a show in that DMV-area at the Tree Swing House, where I went to shows like 7/8 years ago when I was in high school, now Paul Joyner and Metal James live there. Paul Joyner's gonna play, we're gonna play and the Bermuda Triangles are going to rule.

Colossi of Memnon

Monday night, 9:00 PM (for real) at the Triple (3306 W. Broad St.)

. . . . . . . . THE STYRENES (70's Cleveland proto-punk/art-rock/weirdo outsider rock, featuring members of fellow 70's Cleveland rocker proto-punk bands the ELECTRIC EELS and THE MIRRORS)

. . . . . . . . . . KOHOUTEK (Philadelphia based, DC-rooted free imrov psychedelic abstraction collletive, elements of kraut-y space rock, electronic noise manipulation, free-jazz percussion and improvisation, so good, always a trip)

. . . . . . . . . . CAVES CAVERNS (fuzzed out space jams, JK cut off his hair)
The Styrenes should be real interesting, weirdo outsider rock, pre-punk, art-punk stuff that came out of the 1970's Cleveland punk scene that included The Dead Boys, the Pagans, Pere Ubu, the Electric Eels, Rocket from the Tombs, and the Mirrors. Cool early incarnation of weirdo punk with psychedelic tinges. Listen to DRANO IN YOUR VEINS:
http://www.clepunk.com/sounds/styrenes/drano.htm
Kohoutek is cool as fuck, great heady space improv, honestly informed and influenced by the canon of space rock psychedelia and the free sounds of jazz improvisation. you will trip out..

Also VOLCANIC DUST corrupting european air travel may have sent us a special gift for this show. If the VOLCANIC DUST prevails, it will be a true gift to anyone who comes to this show.

Gunslingers show at Couch Heaven was real awesome. Those Frenchies are pretty unstoppable and the frontman is true entertainer. Check them out on the rest of their East Coast jaunt

We sold enough of our tapes and shirts (all of the tie dyes, in fact) to pay off my South Carolina speeding ticket almost completely, which rules, thanks Richmond homies. Stay comfortable in that shit.

JK has recorded an awesome tape of his eccentric, dusk-til-dawn in the basement-psychedelic space loner jams. Really awesome stuff, he records it all himself, calls it DERELICT SPACECRAFT
Give it a listen, let him know what you think.
Here's a sendspace of that motherfucker http://www.sendspace.com/file/m6bs33

We're playing two shows in the DMV as the kids are REPPING these days.

April 12th in Arlington, VA at Galaxy Hut with PIZZA
and
April 28 in College Park, MD at the Tree Swing House with all around pals BERMUDA TRIANGLES, DIAMOND BLACK HEART BOY, and PAUL JOYNER.
Bermuda Triangles should have their new LP which will rule. The combination of Paul Joyner and Chino Black Boy is a meeting of the minds I really anticipate being awesome.
