us four Caves Caverns fellers have returned back to Richmond from our Austin vacation. the 1,500 miles there were enough for us to have lost our minds by Houston. ... . .. . big thanks to Justin Waters whose interest in us and putting out the COMMUNIQUE tape was the first step that got us truck it out west. The Moose Lodge show we played, while initially overwhelming turned out to be one of the best sets we've played, really happy about that, ruined the pseudo-SG, thanks to the teenage who turned on Raftery. Thanks to Polly and Ralphie for doing it up and not making us play in the cold darkness of the Moose Lodge outdoor patio. Much love to Richmond expatriates/ruling Austin-sherpas Joey Magic Jewels (Joe too) and Joe Leggzzzz (and his TELEPATHIK homies) and Ryan/Shaggy. Holy fuck, it was good to hang with ya'll. Miss Stephanie B deserves credit for sticking around us strangers and being warm and friendly and generous with the Nat Shermans.
